We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!
Since the kit sketch is always my first project, let me share my take on the wonderful sketch. I used the Bottle Green Mica powder mixed with water to splatter the background. I also used several of the Kaiser mists that we received in the May mediums add-on. Just some pictures of me and the kids at Grand Canyon a few years ago.
Here's the sketch created by our very own Beggahuna.
And, drum roll! Here's the sketch challenge prize.
Next, my favorite layout with this kit. I used the resist paper for the background. The colors included the Touch of Gold from the mediums add-on and Bottle Green Mica Powder again. I used Ingvild Bolme inks around the edges. Then some Soot TH Crackle paint drizzled and painted. The chippie is altered with several of the Kaiser mists from the May add-on.
The title for this one is "Losing Time" thus the falling clock hands, numbers, and the title. A senior picture of my daughter who is now completing her second year of college a semester early.
Next, a layout of my little fluff ball using lots of layers. I added a Prima vine from a past kit to the flowers on this one and some rub-ons from TH to add a little interest to the background.
Here's my entry in the SGC Challenge for September, The Art of Giving, hosted by Sherri. She challenged us to make something as a gift. I made a date night altered cigar box for my husband for our anniversary. There is a small envelope for each month of the year with a special date. Each one is a surprise to my husband (and, sometimes they are a surprise to me as I forget).
I added some metal pieces from my stash and some microbeads we received in a past kit.
Here's a mini album made from one sheet of 12x12 paper as the base. I have made this mini several times and added it to a 12x12 layout or another mini-album. A great way to add more pictures! Here's the link to the tutorial I used. I want to add pictures from some of our date nights to the album.
Here is the album partially opened.
Here it is opened up completely.
Close up of a Blue Fern chippie I added from my stash.
The last section is a pocket for memorabilia.
Here's my entry for the All that Flutters challenge using the September kit. My kids over 15 years ago with our pet parakeet.
Again, I used the mica powder mixed with water that was included in the kit to splatter the background.
I hope you enjoyed these projects and are inspired to create your own beautiful projects with this amazing kit!
Here's a peek at the blog hop prize. Good luck!
