Round Robin-April 2012

I used a Prima mask and Krylon Make it Stone for the texture required for the twist. I also used the texture paint on the TH birdcage cb diecut. I have had this stuff around forever and never used it. It is pretty cool!

I scrapped a picture of my nephew for this one and stuck to the main design that Kim used. I really wanted to have the torn paper element but they just didn't fit in the end. I liked the burlap tucked in the flower cluster so I used that on my lo as well.

Some flowers from the April kit and some from my stash. I added some leaves and burlap from my stash as well. All pp from the current Swirlydoos kit. tfl

Being together...

This lo was a lift of a lo in the Kaisercrafts magazine that we received with our December Swirlydoos  kit.

I added some poinsettias and bling from my stash. The rest of the lo was created with elements from the December kit. tfl!

Lake View

This is an older lo that I never posted. It was for a Sketch Challenge at Swirlydoos  for a kit in 2012. I was late doing the lo and did not even enter it in the challenge. Oh well.

Everything is from the kit except some of the flowers and the leaves. My dd took these pics of my niece and nephews as they were checking out the lakeview from our deck before our wedding. tfl!

Mom gave me this photo Christmas card that she sent out to friends and family while we were stationed in the Philippines. I used the February Swirlydoos  kit for this one as well.

I added some flowers and bling from past kits as well as my stash. Well, really, the majority of my stash is past Swirly stuff! tfl!

February 2013- Round Robin

I have been a bad blogger! Too busy to post my recent lo's. And, yes, there have been some. Here is my entry for the Round Robin for February. The challenge was to do things in pairs. I was lifting a lift of a lift of a lift since I was week #4. This was a great Round Robin and always my favorite Swirlydoos' challenge.

I had fun using making my own molds. The turquoise was created from a mold that I made using Amazing Molding putty and Amazing Casting resin. Very easy. The pieces are white when dry and then can be altered to suit any lo. I will def being making more molds so I can have my own resin pieces to add to my lo's. tfl!
