Round Robin-April 2012

I used a Prima mask and Krylon Make it Stone for the texture required for the twist. I also used the texture paint on the TH birdcage cb diecut. I have had this stuff around forever and never used it. It is pretty cool!

I scrapped a picture of my nephew for this one and stuck to the main design that Kim used. I really wanted to have the torn paper element but they just didn't fit in the end. I liked the burlap tucked in the flower cluster so I used that on my lo as well.
Some flowers from the April kit and some from my stash. I added some leaves and burlap from my stash as well. All pp from the current Swirlydoos kit. tfl

Being together...

This lo was a lift of a lo in the Kaisercrafts magazine that we received with our December Swirlydoos  kit.
Roger and I celebrating our first Christmas as husband and wife.

I added some poinsettias and bling from my stash. The rest of the lo was created with elements from the December kit. tfl!

Lake View

This is an older lo that I never posted. It was for a Sketch Challenge at Swirlydoos  for a kit in 2012. I was late doing the lo and did not even enter it in the challenge. Oh well.
Everything is from the kit except some of the flowers and the leaves. My dd took these pics of my niece and nephews as they were checking out the lakeview from our deck before our wedding. tfl!

Back to school

Another lo using the March Swirlydoos kit. This kit has a lot of paper! Love it!
My dd in middle school. Now, she is a junior in high school. Wow! I did go to my stash again to add some flowers, leaves, and bling. tfl!

March Round Robin

This is my entry for the RR this month. Used the March kit and added some bling, burlap, flowers, leaves, and other embellies from my stash. tfl!

A second entry for March Round Robin

An old picture of my brothers, sister, and little me in our huge garden. I used the March kit along with some burlap, leaves, flowers, and bling from my stash. tfl!

Sketch Challenge Winner-March

I love to scrap! Have I said that lately?!
I entered the Sketch Challenge at Swirlydoos for March and my Easter lo was chosed as the winner.

Layout of the Week-March 2013

Wow! My wedding lo was chosed as the Layout of the Week for the first week in March! Thank you to the Swirly DT for this honor!
